How to change between Access Tiers.
From the home page, type 'storage accounts' into the search bar and click 'storage accounts' from the drop down options.
Once the storage accounts page opens, click on desired storage account.
Once the storage account opens, scroll down to 'Containers' under 'Data storage' and click 'Containers'.
Once the containers page opens, click on your containers account name.
The containers account name open with your blob. Click on your blob.
When the blob opens, click on 'change tier' on top of the page.
The 'change tier' page opens to the right, click on the drop down arrow under 'Access tier' for options.
The drop drown arrow opens with different options as seen below. Hot (inferred) -An online tier optimized for storing data that is accessed or modified frequently. The hot tier has the highest storage costs, but the lowest access costs. Cool - An online tier optimized for storing data that is infrequently accessed or modified. Data in the cool tier should be stored for a minimum of 30 days. The cool tier has lower storage costs and higher access costs compared to the hot tier. Cold - An online tier optimized for storing data that is rarely accessed or modified, but still requires fast retrieval. Data in the cold tier should be stored for a minimum of 90 days. The cold tier has lower storage costs and higher access costs compared to the cool tier. Archive - An offline tier optimized for storing data that is rarely accessed, and that has flexible latency requirements, on the order of hours. Data in the archive tier should be stored for a minimum of 180 days.
Choose desired tier as per your need however bear in mind that changing Access tiers may result in additional charges.
